These will fix the noise but if the performance is suffering then likely you won't see any difference since it is not likely to be related to this sound. If they are closed, check the primaries. This may sound crazy but I'm going to jump out on a limb here and say you don't have an idle issue--you have a timing issue. I had this same exact issue. I keep wondering how it was running so good with EFI parts, including the throttle body, and the problem persists.Please give me a hand.
